Balmain St was built by and conceived as an office space for Neil + Idle Architects. The office space consisted of the ground floor and mezzanine area with a studio apartment above. The building was used as an opportunity to experiment on materials in unconventional ways such as the external polycarbonate skin and the peanut wall cladding.
