Carosa     Richmond     2007

The house is situated in Richmond Hill sited in a significant heritage overlay. The form has evolved in response to the sensitive streetscape conditions whilst attempting to create a playful contemporary house. The fish scaled zinc shingles references Victorian slate roofing techniques that can be found in the neighborhood.
On an extremely tight sight with very limiting planning constraints the design manages to accommodate of three bedrooms, study, swimming pool, roof terrace and basement garage.
